About Crochet Pattern Finder

Crochet Pattern Finder is a small, independent search tool. Free crochet patterns are spread across many publisher and designer sites, each with its own menus and filters. We index the facts about each free pattern — title, link, skill level, yarn weight and hook size — so you can filter them all in one place, then click through to the designer’s page for the pattern itself.

Right now the index holds 1,896 patterns from AllFreeCrochet (1,624), Yarnspirations (272). We add sources over time and remove links that stop working.

What we don’t do

• We never copy or republish pattern instructions, charts or photos as our own. Thumbnails are shown only to help you recognise a pattern and always link to its source.
• We don’t sell patterns or put free patterns behind a paywall.

Designers: if you would like a pattern removed or a link corrected, email hello@crochetpatternfinder.org and we will act within a few days.

See our methodology for how the index and calculators work.
